One Meralco Campus Tour

                The 1^st Meralco Campus Tour Chess Workshop was held yesterday at the Ramon Magsaysay (Cubao) High School Chess Club.  This school was the first to qualify for having the most number of participants on One Meralco’s Chess Tournament.  Headed by Sir Rolly Sol Cruz of Meralco Chess Club made a very interesting and helpful workshop especially to all the chess players of the said school.  They had lectures and simultaneous games with the National Masters and Meralco Chesskolars.  They also gave 10 chess sets (chess mats and chess pieces) for the school’s Chess Club.

Turn over of Chess Sets from One Meralco Foundation to RMCHS Chess Club

                A training tournament for Chess was held last September 17, 2011 at the Ramon Magsaysay (Cubao) High School.  Combined players for Unit Meet, Alphaland, and Flora Ylagan students were again put their best foot forward for this event.  Top seeded Luzel Dacayo lead the tournament with a 4 wins, 1 draw points.  While on the second place was given to John Bryan Domondon also with 4 wins and 1 draw.  Both of them are playing as board one from their respective category for the Unit Meet.
