The 1st
day of the Shell National Youth Active Chess Championship 2012 NCR Leg was
already launched this morning at the SM Megamall Event Center. Hundreds of participants from different
schools within the National Capital Region enjoyed taking pictures with the
Cosplayers who dressed up like the Chess pieces. This tournament is sponsored by Shell Philippines in partnership with SM Supermalls, Our Home, Unilab, Rudy Project and Brickstone Mall. This 2-day event will determine the toughest
player who will qualify for the Grand Finals on September.
The
next Leg will be on July 14 and 15 at the Brickstone
Mall, Tuguegarao City.
